We’re delighted to announce that HRC Director Professor Kylie Message-Jones has been appointed Research Fellow of the National Museum of Australia for a period of two years commencing January 2023.

In this capacity she will work with the Curatorial, Research and Partnerships team at the NMA to develop a joint NMA-HRC Collaborative Research Training Program that builds capacity amongst senior undergraduate (hons/Masters level) and graduate (PhD) students and early career professionals working across museum and university sectors in the techniques of cross-institution research and collaboration.

Earlier in the year Professor Message-Jones was appointed Adviser to the Vietnamese Museum of Australia, which she is working with to develop museum governance structures as the project enters its construction phase in 2023.
