Every year the HRC hosts a national conference on our annual theme and co-hosts or sponsors a number of other conferences, symposia and colloquia with the Australasian Consortium of Humanities Research Centres, other partner universities and research centres nationally and internationally, national institutions, and external bodies. We also support a postgraduate-run student conference or workshop event each year.

Our annual conferences are typically held towards the end of the year, and are often paired with our National Graduate Summer School.
