Book Launch // The West Verandah: The Life and Work of Les Murray

The Humanities Research Centre and the Centre for European Studies at the Australian National University proudly invite you to the launch of The West Verandah: The Life and Work of Les Murray, edited by Sonia Mycak and published by Boraga Academic.

The event will feature a poetry reading by Les Murray himself, Australia’s leading poet and one of the greatest contemporary poets writing in English. Murray's career has spanned over forty years, in which time he has produced more than thirty volumes of poetry, been translated into ten languages, and been awarded the Australian Literature Society’s Gold Medal and the Queen’s Gold Medal for Poetry.
