The ABC recently interviewed the Humanities Research Centre’s Hans Mol Research Fellow in Religion and the Social Sciences, Dr Ibrahim Abraham, on current attitudes towards religions and religious leaders.

The article follows the results of the ABC’s Australia Talks survey which found 41% of Australians don’t trust religious leaders “at all”. Dr Abraham observes that young people are not just atheist but apatheist, in that they are just not interested in religion.
