My Journey Through Words: Why I Am Writing Again
The HRC invites you to a special evening lecture presented as part of our 50th Anniversary Celebrations
Dr Farjana Mahbuba will explore how her passion for reading and writing shaped her identity and personal growth. Raised in a home filled with books, words became her sanctuary and a tool for resistance against societal and political injustices. Migration to Australia offered a new perspective on her colonial past, reigniting her commitment to writing. This piece highlights the transformative power of words in the pursuit of knowledge, justice, and empowerment. We will be serving light refreshments accompanying this event. Registration is essential.
